Functie
1. Online Community Development
Grow and manage the online AMS Alumni community on social media (mainly LinkedIn and Instagram).
Create and curate engaging, relevant content for alumni (e.g., success stories, industry insights, school news, job opportunities, …).
Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and moderate discussions to maintain a professional, inclusive tone.
2. Alumni Engagement
Design and execute campaigns and initiatives that increase alumni engagement and participation e.g.:
Set-up campaigns such as email campaigns for events, newsletters, as well as social media to maximize visibility and attendance.
Develop initiatives such as webinars, club-like alumni events (e.g. Alumni Summer Drink), events in collaboration with external parties (e.g. Antwerp 10 Miles…) in collaboration with the event manager.
Identify interesting alumni and cultivate them as community ambassadors and thought leaders.
3. Relationship Management
Act as the primary point of contact for alumni interacting via digital channels.
Collaborate with academic departments, career services, and corporate relations to highlight relevant alumni achievements.
Participate in meetings with product unit leads & head of marketing, meetings with program managers & career services manager
4. Content & Storytelling
Draft a yearly content plan aligned with AMS values and alumni interests.
Pick up interesting alumni stories. Interview alumni for spotlight features and success stories to showcase AMS’s global impact.
Collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all channels .
5. Data & Insights
Maintain and grow the alumni database in alignment with GDPR and data privacy standards.
Track alumni engagement metrics and generate insights to inform future initiatives.
Profiel
Must-Have
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
Ability to organize multiple projects and due dates
2–5 years of experience in community management, customer relations, digital marketing, or social media.
Proven track record managing and growing online communities or professional online networks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
Experience with content creation tools
Nice to Have
Familiarity with higher education or alumni organizations.
Background in CRM or alumni database management .
