Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist with expertise in Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, and SCCM to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will provide technical support to our employees, manage our device infrastructure, and ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical support to end-users, resolving issues related to hardware, software, networking, and mobile devices.
- Manage and maintain our Active Directory environment, including user accounts, group policies, and security settings.
- Administer Microsoft Intune and other MDM solutions to deploy, manage, and secure our fleet of mobile devices and applications.
- Utilize SCCM to deploy software updates, manage patches, and create system images for new and existing devices.
- Perform hands-on hardware and software installations, upgrades, and repairs, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility.
- Configure and troubleshoot network components, including switches, routers, and wireless access points, to maintain a stable and secure network environment.
- Document all support activities, resolutions, and system changes in our ticketing system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to end-users, ensuring their technical issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
- Communicate complex technical information to non-technical users in a clear and understandable manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated proficiency in Active Directory administration, including user management, group policies, and security configurations.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Intune and other MDM platforms for managing and securing mobile devices.
- Strong knowledge of SCCM for software deployment, patch management, and system imaging.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues across Windows and macOS environments.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and basic switch/router configuration.
- Experience with imaging and deploying new devices using tools like SCCM or MDT.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft 365 Certified are highly desirable.
