Role and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Promoting Food Safety within the Herentals production plant
- Develop, implement and maintain the RedZone compliance standards and system.
- Investigation of supplier complaints, customer complaints and internal non conformances.
- Work closely with operations to resolves manufacturing issues relating to Food Safety.
- Liaising with maintenance and projects on site improvements relating to Food safety and GMP.
- Liaison with 3rd party service providers on food safety systems including pest control, cleaning chemicals and warehousing services.
- Support and training on food safety to production and warehousing teams.
Knowledge and Experience
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role in the food industry with proven abilities in achieving results by leadership and building relationships.
- Degree in science preferably Food
- Level 4 Certificate in HACCP principles.
- Advance Level Food Hygiene Certificate
- Knowledge of HACCP / GFSI standards, and other international standards as applicable to the job role (e.g. ISO 9001).
- Work well under pressure
- Team player, constructive and positive approach, well organized with a proactive “can do” attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Have a flexible approach to work.
