The ROLE
GANTRADE EUROPE BV & GANTRADE EUROPE LIMITED is seeking a European Sales Development Manager to spearhead growth initiatives in Europe. Based in Belgium or the UK, you will play a critical role in driving new business, strengthening relationships with existing customers, and identifying opportunities that align with our ambitious growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive growth: Research, identify, and develop new business opportunities across assigned companies, applications, and territories.
- Build partnerships: Deepen customer relationships by understanding their business needs, identify development opportunities and providing tailored solutions.
- Market intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to keep our business progressive.
- Strategic collaboration: Work closely with finance and management teams on pricing, cash flow, risk management, and strategic planning.
- Account management: Create structured account development plans to ensure sustainable long-term growth.
- Sales excellence: Achieve targets for appointments, calls, and revenue generated from allocated accounts and new business while providing regular performance feedback and insights to the team, so that they are constantly aware of all opportunities and risks for the business.
- Leadership & teamwork: Attend scheduled sales/operating meetings and contribute to cross-functional discussions on sales objectives, financial sales performance, and future opportunities.
- Reporting & planning: Deliver clear reports and recommendations, and support the preparation of market assessments and strategic business plans.
YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded professional who brings both technical knowledge and strong interpersonal skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical/Material Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of sales and business development experience in the European chemical sector, ideally within CASE markets.
- Proven ability to generate new business and manage existing accounts.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with CRM tools and modern sales management practices

- Comfortable working in an international environment with cross-border responsibilities.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel (mainly UK, Benelux, Germany, and Italy).
- Availability to attend the office one day per week (Mechelen or Staines).
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional European languages (Dutch, French, Italian, or German) is a strong advantage.
