Eurofins Medical Device offers a wide range of services across its laboratory network in Europe and US. This includes, amongst others:
- Biocompatibility testing
- Shelf life studies, Transport simulation, & Package integrity testing
- Microbiology & Chemistry testing
- (Reprocessing) cleaning validation studies,
- Material inspections
- Packaging & sterilization services
- (Regulatory Affairs) Consultancy services
- And any other service that a company would need to get their product safe on the market
To further expand our Medical Device Testing business segment we are looking for a strongly motivated colleague to join our dynamic International Sales Team in Benelux (focused on Belgium).
Job Description
- Develop and qualify new leads for active and non-active medical devices testing services
- On-site visits – e.g. for client relationship management
- Maintain and develop existing customer accounts using sales methods and relationship building in Belgium
- Self-contained plans and organizes personal sales activities within assigned territory to achieve company established sales goals
- Evaluation of sales data and preparation of reports and participation in sales planning
- Supports the European Eurofins sales force and key account management team to achieve company – established sales goals
- Attends and supports marketing activities, e.g. international conferences / trade shows and workshops
- Operates CRM software to capture all sales activities related to customer contacts, activities and contractual agreements
- Maintains a very good knowledge and understanding of regulated preclinical services
Qualifications
- B.Sc. or Master of Sc. (biology/chemistry or similar)
- At least 3 years experience in medical device testing services sales
- An established network of contacts within the Medical Device Industry
- Knowledge of the medical device development process and the role of contract research organizations in this process
- Knowledge in regulations (ISO, GLP)
- Fluent in spoken and written English and preferably French
- Travel readiness up to 60%
- You are able to work in a combination of home-based and office-based in this role. We require a strong sense of responsibility and autonomy. Eurofins Office is in Nazareth in Belgium.
