Description
We are looking for a Project Technical Leader (Device Development) to join our dedicated team on its journey to achieve invoX’s vision to become a globally recognized, fully integrated pharmaceutical company, with an advancing pipeline of innovative products addressing unmet healthcare needs, directly improving patients’ lives.
The role will support our R&D teams by leading key device development projects as part of a wider cross-functional team. You will report directly to the Head of Device Development with responsibility to the Project Leader of drug-device combination programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the technical project management of one or more device development projects from concept development to design transfer.
- Responsible for generating design control and risk management documentation in accordance with internal Quality Management System and all applicable regulatory requirements, including collation and maintenance of Design History/ Technical Files and Risk Management Files.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure the on time and in full execution of your projects.
- Leadership of external partner/s (developers, CMOs etc.) to deliver on project objectives.
- Manage (identify and mitigate) your project risks, both technical and business-related, drive timely decision-making to keep projects on track.
- Develop and control of your project schedules and budgets to classic time, cost and quality targets.
- Maintain timely and effective communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Close collaboration with the device engineering team in Belgium.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Master in Engineering or Materials Science discipline or related subject.
- Relevant experience in similar technical project management role(s) within inhalation or parenteral device development industries and/or drug/ device combination products.
- Demonstrated success in leading global projects / teams to meet and improve the needs of business.
- Experience leading technical project teams in a medical device R&D environment.
- Pharmaceutical drug development expertise with a special focus on respiratory.
