Main social media responsibilities: Social media interns work under the supervision of social media managers to:
- Create social media calendars, keep social media accounts updated, and analyse analytics of posts
- Post on various social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Check online content generated by online users
- Assess the content based on a set of community guidelines and flagging the content that is not in line with these guidelines
- Draft answers to questions raised via social media platforms and liaising with the project management team
- Analyse analytics to gauge the success of campaigns.
- Implement the influencers marketing activities (mapping, onboarding, briefing of content creators)
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms
- Prior experience with marketing or social media
- Attention to details
- Good written communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of English (any other language will be considered an asset)
- Good understanding of EU institutions and interest in communicating about EU policies to EU citizens
- At ease with Microsoft Office, mailing and survey tools
- Proactive, solution-oriented and can-do mindset
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good organisational skills, ability to meet deadlines
- Willingness in acquiring new skills and undertaking new tasks
- Quick learner, receptive to new information and assignments
