You will be part of the Product & Technology domain and report to the Technology Partner Management Team Manager. As a senior individual contributor, you will have end-to-end accountability for a portfolio of high-value technology contracts. You will be the commercial owner of these agreements, responsible for driving partner performance, managing financial delivery, leading strategic negotiations, and enabling innovation through optimized contract models. This role requires high-level interaction across Telenet’s leadership, legal, procurement, finance, and technology domains.
Your Tasks as Vendor & Contract Relationship Manager:
- Lead the full lifecycle of strategic technology contracts: design, negotiation, execution, performance monitoring, and renewal. Ensure contracts remain aligned with evolving business needs and market developments.
- Define and execute the governance model for each vendor engagement, establishing performance frameworks and communication channels. Represent Telenet in high-stakes contract and performance discussions with external partners and internal stakeholders.
- Track vendor performance vs. contractual commitments and forecasted outcomes. Own the financial model and budget of your contracts portfolio, ensuring value realization and cost optimization.
- Monitor contractual compliance, identify risks, and initiate corrective actions. Guide internal teams on contractual rights, obligations, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Resolve complex commercial or delivery issues, acting as the escalation point beyond operational levels. Lead dispute resolution and re-alignment processes across business and vendor boundaries.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on vendor strategy and contract performance. Coordinate across IT, engineering, operations, legal, finance, and strategy to ensure delivery aligns with strategic goals.
- Identify improvement opportunities and initiate structural changes to delivery or sourcing models. Use contractual levers to drive partner-led innovation and service transformation.

Our ideal Vendor & Contract Relationship Manager:
- Has 10+ years of experience in contract management, vendor governance, or strategic procurement, preferably in a tech or telecom environment.
- Has proven leadership in managing large-scale, high-value agreements across multiple stakeholders.
- Has strong knowledge of complex contract structures (outsourcing, Joint Venture , offshoring, T&M, fixed capacity, etc.).
- Has demonstrated ability to influence strategic decisions at senior levels and across functions.
- Strong financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Comfortable leading multi-party negotiations and resolving high-impact commercial issues.
- Previous experience in a contract management role within a Telecom operator or international IT/Telecom technology providers is a plus.
- Fluent in English; Dutch and French is a plus .
