Our Team.
Trade & Revenue Management (TRM) Team is the Commercial Glue, aiming to bring different teams together to accelerate simplification of healthcare. TRM Lead Belgium position is part of the WEU Zone TRM Team reporting to WEU Zone TRM Head and working closely with a Country Head for Belgium.
Job Purpose.
Create Value through full spectrum of TRM levers (Channel / Product Mix, Commercial Policy, Pricing, Pack/Price architecture etc), achieving positive impact on Net Sales / Profitability / Cashflow.
Job Scope.
Drive key TRM pillars:
  • Commercial Policy: work with Commercial Team to design optimum Commercial Policy to drive best in class activation of Opella brands across different channels, while meeting GTN targets and maximizing Pay-for-Performance approach
  • Pricing: responsible for the pricing process locally. Ensure to drive price increase minimum at per inflation level and deep-dive into price index vs competitors & pack price architecture
  • Market Access: Act as liaison with Health Care Authorities and, if required, external consultants to drive pricing changes for Rx / Restricted portfolio. Collaborate with EULA & Global RGM Team in case of multi-country market access initiatives
  • Promotion: Perform promo ROI analysis to drive cost-efficient allocation of in-store activation investment across brands /
  • Mix: Responsible for monitoring & driving positive sku, brand, channel, customer mix through tailored action plan based on detailed analysis & data given by finance team
  • Portfolio optimization / simplification:
    • Brand architecture: act as the local lead to support marketers to find new pricing / sizing opportunities linked to consumer occasions (small trial pack, big value pack …)
    • Simplification: act as the local lead for the full simplification process. It can be a bottom-up approach with a pruning routine with focus on low sales / low profitability skus. It can be a top-down approach based on sku to be pruned list coming from global / EULA team
    • Optimization: act as the local lead to work with EULA & global to find portfolio optimization like shared packaging or harmonized pack size across country
    • Innovations: being part of the local innovation process to define GTN investment and customer profitability. Ensure innovation %GM is above brand average.
  • COGS: support brand managers to challenge COGS with IA & CMO
  • Cost of Distribution: work with Supply team to find optimisation opportunities through re-aligning order criteria and Commercial Policy (for ex. MOQ, volume scale aligned to case configuration, ordering patterns, collaborative forecasting etc.)
  • Lead Sales Out to Sales In translation as part of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process and collaborate with Country Head to ensure robust Net Sales assumption
You.
  • Education – bachelor’s or master’s degree in business / finance / data management & analytics
  • Experience: Previous experience in revenue management is beneficial. If not, experience in finance / commercial or data analytics is mandatory. FMCG / consumer healthcare / consultancy background.
  • Soft skills: High learning agility. Ability to drive change and create impact. Able to easily extract insight from data to feed into compelling commercial strategies. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team player.
  • Technical skills: Analytical skills & Excel expertise; PBI is a plus.
  • Languages: Fluent in Dutch or French and English
