Your challenge
You will join a dynamic team of 25 employees who manage a total of 1,200 suppliers. As the responsible person for your own assortment of spare parts for Scania trucks, buses, and diesel engines, you will be involved in the entire supply chain from the supplier to the warehouses.
Your main responsibility will be to manage and optimize the stock management process, ensuring an optimal balance between availability, delivery time, stock turn-over, and all other factors that influence our logistics processes..
You will utilize your structured problem-solving approach to identify potential bottlenecks and implement effective solutions. You will analyse and improve material flows and transport, plan the logistics flow, and initiate process improvements. Furthermore, you will maintain regular communication with suppliers and other departments within Scania to ensure smooth operations.

- You are a good communicator, allowing you to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders. Your ability to think ahead and structured way of working will ensure our supply chain functions with optimum efficiency.
- You are assertive, problemsolving and analytical that enables you to approach challenges with creativity, innovation and a constructive mindset, all while keeping important factors like turnover and tied-up capital in mind.
- You have a higher education degree (bachelor or master). Next to this you have a first experience with supply chain management.
- You have a strong affinity for logistics and computer systems.
- You have excellent proficiency in Dutch and English, and knowledge of French and/or German is considered a valuable asset.
