To support the growing on-site project needs of our client - specialized in machine construction for the biopharmaceutical sector - we are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Designer-Solidworks.
What is the challenge?

Innovative concept development:
- Design groundbreaking mechanical concepts from a blank slate
- Translate abstract ideas into concrete, feasible solutions

Concept generation & modeling:
- Generate multiple concept variants based on functional and technical requirements
- Develop these concepts into 3D models (CAD)

Evaluation & documentation:
- Evaluate concepts for manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and innovation
- Carefully document your proposals

Collaboration & presentation:
- Work closely with engineers and stakeholders
- Clearly present and justify your concept choices to the project team or client
Who we’re looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience in developing precision mechanical devices and/or machines
- Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical and/or medical secto
- Including knowledge of applicable regulations and standards
- An innovative thinker who creates solutions from scratch
- Able to generate and explore diverse conceptual approaches
- Works independently, but also excels in multidisciplinary team environments
- Flexible, pragmatic, and a strong communicato
- A reliable design partner for our clients
- Knowledge of or affinity with vacuum technology is a strong asset
