Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Are you a visionary Design Lead ready to shape high-impact digital experiences across diverse business domains? Amaris Consulting is looking for a seasoned Design Lead to join our fast-growing team in Brussels. In this full-time role, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of UX/UI Designers and play a key role in defining user-centric, high-quality digital solutions that align with strategic goals across multiple departments.
Your Responsibilities:
Define and maintain high standards for design quality, usability, and accessibility across all digital products and services.
Act as a thought leader in UX/UI design, championing best practices in design thinking, user research, and human-centered design.
Lead, mentor, and support a team of 3–4 UX/UI Designers, encouraging personal growth and team collaboration.
Oversee resource planning and ensure timely delivery across multiple parallel projects.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and marketing teams to align design outcomes with business objectives.
Serve as the primary design contact for internal teams, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversee the full design process—from discovery to delivery—on multiple initiatives.
Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain consistency and excellence.
Continuously optimize design workflows, tools, and methodologies within the digital team.
Evolve the use of design systems, pattern libraries, and shared resources to ensure scalability and coherence.
Your Profile:
You have 6+ years of experience in UX/UI or digital product design, with 2+ years in a leadership or senior role.
Proven success in leading design teams in agile or matrixed environments.
A strong portfolio demonstrating a broad range of digital design work and team leadership.
Expert-level proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.
Solid grasp of UX research methods and how to apply them effectively in product development.
Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Comfortable working cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders.
Fluent in French and/or Dutch, with a good command of English.
