VITO is looking for a driven Recruiter to help shape the future of our talent strategy within a mission-driven, innovative context. In this role, you will combine strategic thinking with hands-on recruitment, creating impact at every level of our organization. You will be part of VITO's Talent Acquisition & Performance Acceleration (TAPA) team and report to our Talent Manager.
What you’ll do:
Partner with HR colleagues (recruiters, business partners, support, experts) as well as the colleagues of our Corporate Services and Environmental Intelligence unit to sustainably grow VITO’s human capital.
Collaborate with Hiring Managers to define job profiles for a variety of roles, including Researchers, Business Developers, IT professionals, and support functions.
Craft engaging, SEO-proof job descriptions and look for relevant channels to post the job openings and provide input for the sourcing strategy.
Guide candidates smoothly through each stage of our application process. Aiming to limit the time-to-hire as much as possible.
Screen applications and conduct interviews as the HR representative in the selection panel.
Coordinate with our Talent Acquisition Support Officer for efficient interview scheduling of candidates and with the HR Business Partners on procedures and salary proposals.
Communicate intensively with the Hiring Manager, including regular status updates on open vacancies.
Support new hires during their onboarding journey.
Continuously improve our recruitment processes and tools, bringing innovative, solution-focused ideas to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
Qualifications
You have a bachelor's/master's degree in HR or a related field. Preferably combined with experience in (international) recruitment within a similar environment or with similar profiles.
You have strong communication skills and are assertive with a hands-on mentality.
You know how to handle confidential information discreetly, and you have an eye for diversity in the selection process.
You can easily manage multiple recruitment processes in parallel, with the ability to provide accurate data and updates to stakeholders at any time.
You have a good spoken and written knowledge of Dutch and English.
