What does the job look like?

As a market leader, we always want to provide our customers with flawless products that meet all quality standards. And that's where you come in. You will perform test our labels on all aspects from injection to performance in all possible applications, you will organize your work, according to the priorities agreed with the team, provide recommendations for test process improvements and you will be an active member of the team.

Can the packaging withstand dishwashing cycles afterwards, can it survive pasteurization ...? We will know on the basis of your findings during trials and tests in our R&D lab.

You're someone who likes to keep things tidy and organized. You work in a clear and structured way. You’re good at creating the most efficient plan from all the requests you get. You make sure that the expectations are clear and communicate about deliverables up front.

You have a strong technical understanding and background and are interested in developing or fostering your experience in packaging and labeling. You are flexible, proactive, analytical and communicative.

You have attention to detail; you are critical and a real team player. You work fluently with a computer for recording tasks performed and reports (English). Knowledge of the Office package is required; knowledge of AX is an asset.

Your responsibilities will include organizing and executing lab tests, collecting data and organizing them in standard documents, providing preliminary conclusions and sharing them with the team. While many tests follow established procedures, there will be occasions where no standard method exists — in these cases, you'll need to think creatively and develop innovative approaches to achieve the desired results. You are the ‘lab owner’ and it is expected that you will maintain it in excellent working conditions along with taking care of the equipment and organizing routine maintenance and troubleshooting when needed. We are looking for an individual that can proactively suggest ideas for improvement around products and processes. As a key part of the innovation team, you will be involved in some of the routine meetings and activities, including project-related meetings.
