We currently have a vacancy for a Expert Product Owner fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert remotely within EU. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Tasks:
- Works within the agile process and is the final authority for decisions regarding priority, business value, and functionality for all the work done by the agile development team;
- Possesses an in depth knowledge of goals and desired objectives of the project;
- Interacts and validates requirements with the business;
- Propose solutions by combining IT tools and business process refactoring or improvements based on an in depth understanding of a specific business domain (see skills);
- Creates, maintains, prioritizes, and sequences the product backlog based on business value or return of investment;
- Participates to retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings;
- Facilitates the acceptance of the product by the business.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 17 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Experience with large, enterprise-level multi-user and technologies Information Systems;
- Experience in Agile and SCRUM;
- Good knowledge of agile toolbox (i.e. JIRA, Confluence, BigPicture, Gliffy, Balsamiq, etc.);
- Good knowledge of Application Management Lifecycle;
- One of the following certificates & standards are required for the performance of tasks: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), SAFe Product Owner or equivalent;
- Excellent command of the English language, ability to communicate in French will be an advantage.
