Description:
As a business analyst, you'll delve into the business processes of one or more of the agency's domains. You'll analyze questions and opportunities for digital solutions and map expectations and needs, both functionally and process-wise. In collaboration with the business PO, subject matter experts, end users, and your IT colleagues, you'll design the best IT solution, from business process to functional implementation, and oversee its development. As a Proxy PO, you'll translate business needs into a clear product backlog and ready-to-use stories for the development team.
As part of the unit focusing on Digital Services and Smart Nature, you'll work in an innovation-driven environment where efficient innovation is key. Together with your colleagues, you'll develop smart solutions based on machine learning and IoT data. You'll transform ideas into prototypes, test them thoroughly, and guide them through to production-ready implementation.
Tasks:
Analyzing business processes and identifying optimization opportunities
Communicating with stakeholders and understanding their needs and expectations
Defining and documenting functional and non-functional requirements
Aligning with other roles within the IT team (architects, geospatial specialists, first line support, devops team, project manager, etc.)
Supporting and guiding the development, testing, and implementation of new applications and processes
Digital Services & Smart Nature:
Translating proof-of-concepts into robust, scalable solutions
Testing and validating solutions in realistic environments
Contributing to building systems that can provide early warnings based on data analysis
Developing and implementing AI algorithms
Involving stakeholders in identifying drivers, indicators, and user requirements through co-creation
Must Have:
Demonstrable experience in an Agile development environment and applying these principles, including demonstrable experience leading workshops, creating User Story Maps, and writing User Stories. - Expert (8.00 years)
Knowledge of Python as a programming language, including data science and machine learning packages and frameworks?
Demonstrable experience with business analysis around innovative solutions (AI, Digital Twins, etc.) - Senior (5.00 years)
Demonstrable experience with machine learning and data analysis, including optimizations for efficiency, scalability and reliability - Senior (5.00 years)
Demonstrable experience with IoT, sensor data and building smart monitoring and warning systems (EWS – Early Warning Systems)? - Senior (5.00 years)
Demonstrable experience in general business management with applications in the ICT field. - Expert (8.00 years)
Demonstrable experience with business process development and optimization (BPM)
You have a master's degree
Demonstrable experience with stakeholder management
Demonstrable knowledge and experience of the various Project Management facets (costs, timing, coordination, planning, estimates)
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
Interest in nature and in the functioning of the government
Do you have knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and experience with the possibilities and operation of geodata and services when designing business applications?
