What will you be bringing to the team?
- Elicit, analyze, specify, document, validate, and manage business and functional requirements.
- Conduct business process and model analysis.
- Analyze IT applications from both business and functional perspectives.
- Perform risk analysis.
- Contribute to the preparation of business cases, vision documents, project charters, and security plans.
- Analyze integration points between various information systems.
- Support development teams and participate in iterative solution testing.
- Monitor data analysis and data modeling activities.
- Provide security assessments and recommend solutions for information systems.
- Review, evaluate, and test applications and third-party components to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements and standards.
- Assist or act as a proxy Product Owner in managing the Agile product backlog.
- Support backlog refinement and prioritization in collaboration with stakeholders and the development team.
- Assist in the creation and updating of product documentation, including user guides, release notes, and training materials.
- Provide change management support and conduct impact analysis for product releases.
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- Bachelor Degree with minimum 11 years of general IT experience (or Master Degree with minimum 7 years of experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business and functional analysis.
- At least 3 years of experience in business process analysis and modeling.
- At least 2 years of experience with JIRA.
- At least 2 years of experience in functional testing.
- Very good knowledge of analysis methods and techniques (e.g., UML, BPMN, context diagrams, use cases, user journeys, user stories) and solid SQL skills.
- Very good knowledge of analysis and modeling tools and techniques (e.g., use case diagrams, state diagrams, entity-relationship models, interaction diagrams).
- Good knowledge of Wiki and collaborative platforms.
- Ability to produce structured documentation, including detailed functional analyses, UML diagrams, use cases, and mockups.
- Skilled in designing multilayer applications and defining integration points.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including the SAFe Agile framework.
- Proficiency in Agile project/product management practices: backlog management, refinement sessions, iterative planning and delivery, estimation, and incremental development.
- Solid testing skills, including test design, execution, and documentation.
- Experience with web applications.
- Experience as a Product Owner or Scrum Master is considered an asset.
- Excellent command of the English language at a minimum of C1 level, along with good knowledge of French, is required.
