The scope, here, is to reinforce risk governance and simulation processes within a major energy infrastructure program led by a Belgian transmission system operator.

The Key responsibilities expected from our consultant might include:

Support projects through high-quality and detail-oriented execution, ensuring accuracy and meeting expectations:

• Make sure the Risk Management Plan’s processes and procedures are implemented and respected
• Log the identified risks in the tool, assess their impacts, and follow up the mitigation actions
• Run simulations and Monte Carlo analyses on cost and schedule to calculate contingencies
• Provide risk-management expertise to program members
• Improve the risk-management methodology and update the Risk Management Plan when needed

Support projects with rational and data-driven assessments regarding costs, quality, and timelines, providing objective analyses for decision-making:

• Govern and manage the overall risk process
• Audit the ongoing risk management of EPC contractors and share the findings

Support projects by facilitating communication and reporting between stakeholders:

• Organize Risk Management meetings
• Report on program risks

The experience we are actively looking for:

• Degree in engineering or economics
• Proven project management capabilities with strong adaptability
• Proficiency in risk management tools, techniques, and methodologies
• Knowledge of PMI/PMBOK is a plus
• Experience in infrastructure or high-voltage projects is an asset
• Fluent in Dutch and French, good knowledge of English
• Excellent communication, proactivity, and analytical thinking
• Valid work and residence permits for Belgium (mandatory for non-EU candidates)
• Immediate availability and presence in Belgium are preferred
