The role
As a Market Competitive Insight Analyst for the Benelux markets, you will be part of the Intelligence Team and work closely with colleagues from Sales and Trade Marketing in Mechelen or Oosterhout. With your expertise, you support them through sharp analyses and reports that strengthen both operational and strategic decision-making. You will focus on the complex and dynamic BeLux markets, covering both domestic and travel retail (border sales). In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact by translating market insights into concrete recommendations. You are highly analytical, able to communicate your findings clearly, and inspire colleagues to take action based on data. In addition, you play a key role in making information and insights accessible across the organization. Key accountabilities
- Monitor performance through KPIs and analyze variances between planned and actual results.
- Conduct analyses of brand and sales activities, providing targeted recommendations for optimization.
- Create, update, and manage market and competitor reports for internal use.
- Train and support colleagues in using reporting tools and independently interpreting data.
- Identify market dynamics and opportunities based on competitor and market analyses.
- Translate data into compelling insights that inspire stakeholders and guide commercial decisions.
Skills & experience
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in an analytical role within FMCG or a comparable sector.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with quantitative analyses, including market and competitor analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present analyses convincingly to diverse stakeholders.
- Proactive, self-driven, and able to collaborate effectively with internal partners.
- Proficient in MS Office, fluent in both Dutch and English (spoken and written).
