Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Learning and Development Intern. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of employee training and development, and to contribute to the growth and success of our organization. The ideal candidate will be passionate about learning, possess excellent communication skills, and have a keen interest in helping others develop their skills and knowledge.
Responsibilities
As a Learning and Development Intern, you will work closely with our Learning and Development team to support various training initiatives and projects. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Training Content Development
- Assist in the design and development of learning paths.
- Research and gather information on various topics to create engaging and informative content.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training materials.
- Mapping of skills and training
- Continue the exercise of mapping by ensuring we identified all relevant resources
- Learning Management System (LMS) Administration
- Perform a sanity check of the material/courses present in our LMS
- Help with the preparation of data related to training (template)
- Continuous Improvement : These are some of the tasks that we could ask you to do
- Analyse the possible improvements in terms of grants
- Assist in the evaluation of training programs through surveys and feedback mechanisms.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements to training content and delivery methods.
- Contact all divisions with mandatory training asking them for the legal justifications
- E-learning setup with a new provider: setup of the relationship and create a flow for the process
- Handbook : Review the training policy handbook and align with Communications
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Strong interest in Learning and Development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- “Hands on”, resourceful, proactive
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English are key.
