ICF NEXT is looking for an Information Architecture and Content Expert to support the client in enhancing its digital communication strategy and online presence. This role involves proactive content development, strategic coordination, and expert guidance in social media and influencer engagement.
Background
The client supports its policies and actions in the areas of enlargement and eastern neighbourhood through communication activities, in close collaboration with other Directorates-General and institutions. These activities require high-quality support from experts in digital technical support, web design, social media, audio-visual creation, graphic design, and online communication—expertise not available in-house and therefore sourced externally.
Objective
In a rapidly evolving digital landscape, effective online communication is essential for amplifying the client’s voice and visibility within the European Union and beyond. As part of its broader communication efforts, the client is committed to implementing a dynamic and forward-looking social media strategy. This includes regular publication of high-quality content and coordination with other entities to ensure consistency and coherence across platforms.
Tasks
The Information Architecture and Content Expert will:
- Proactively suggest new ways of presenting and promoting the client’s policies and results on social media.
- Develop material for social media channels and coordinate with communication teams of other DGs and institutions.
- Oversee and coordinate the work of dedicated social media/influencer experts.
- Ensure all influencer activities align with the organisation’s communication strategy and branding.
- Support the drafting, review, and monitoring of influencer contracts for legal and procedural compliance.
- Advise on influencer selection and campaign design to ensure strategic impact and relevance.
- Monitor the quality and timeliness of influencer deliverables, including pre-publication content review.
- Act as liaison between internal teams, the influencer expert, and external stakeholders.
- Provide regular progress updates and deliver a final assessment report with recommendations.
- Perform other dedicated tasks that fall under the expert’s area of expertise upon request of the hierarchy.
Required Expertise
- Research, writing, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Ability to cope with fast-changing developments related to assigned tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of content strategy and familiarity with data protection principles.
- Proficient level with 5+ years of experience.
