Purpose of the role
We are looking for an experienced and result-driven BCM to support our exciting Breast & Gynecological portfolio within the Breast/Gyn/GI franchise that is part of the Oncology Business Unit Belgium & Luxembourg.
As Oncology BCM you will be responsible to define and implement the marketing/promotional strategies and activities to support the growth of our Oncology portfolio. In this role, you will work cross-functionally together with the medical affairs team, the sales team, the digital & data analytics team, market access and the external communications department.
Experience and Oncology background are a plus for this role.
Primary responsibilities
- Build strategic brand plan, consistent with global/regional strategic brand plans, overall product strategy and local market and customer insights
- Develop high-quality promotional marketing materials digital and hard copy
- Accountable for the delivery of marketing initiatives
- Maximize the use of different commercial & medical channels, to ensure optimal customer engagements and evolve towards tailored communication approach
- Be the brand, competitor and market expert of the assigned indications
- Work closely together with the sales team to collect latest market and customer insights to continuously drive the brand strategy and messaging, and tailor marketing materials and campaigns accordingly
- Work hand in hand with medical to stay up to date on latest updates for your assigned indications and be able to report in-label updates back to field team
- Share and implement best practices across the oncology business unit and the regional teams
- Be part of the cross-functional team discussions for the assigned indications and ensure cross-functional alignment around strategy and activity planning
- Responsible for driving the quarterly cross-functional priority setting for the assigned indications
- Responsible for brand budget for assigned indications
Requirements
- University degree in Life Sciences or another relevant discipline with healthcare curriculum from an accredited university
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare industry experience, ideally in specialty care
- Previous oncology experience and/or scientific background in oncology is a strong plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, with strong strategic planning skills
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility to be accountable for your portfolio indications
- Ability to act as a team player within the team, across oncology franchises and cross-functional departments
- Exhibit project planning, problem solving, analytical and execution skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English, French and/or Dutch are a must
