At Kia Belux, based in Zaventem, our 65-strong team is passionate about delivering exceptional service to our customers in Belgium and Luxembourg. We’re now looking for a Senior Manager Warranty Technical Services to strengthen our team in a key leadership role that has a significant impact on customer satisfaction and business growth.
Your Role: Driving Technical Excellence and Customer Satisfaction
As Senior Manager Warranty Technical Services, you will lead a team of six specialists across three core areas: Warranty, Technical Support, and Service Homologation. You’ll have three direct reports and report directly to the Head of Ownership Experience.
This is a hands-on leadership role, with strong emphasis on dealer support, process optimization, budget management, and innovation in aftersales service. Your goal? Deliver top-tier customer and dealer satisfaction, while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and forward-thinking technical service.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
Lead, coach, and develop a talented team
Foster a culture of learning, innovation and continuous improvement
Collaborate with HR on recruitment, training, performance evaluation and well-being
Drive a healthy, efficient and motivated working environment
Warranty:
Lead a team of 2 specialists
Manage and allocate the warranty budget
Ensure smooth, compliant warranty processes, systems and documentation
Monitor workflows, case resolution times and service quality
Conduct dealer audits and manage escalation cases
Align with central (HQ) guidelines and deadlines
Technical Services:
Oversee a team of 3: two field advisors and one hotline advisor
Support Kia dealers with technical systems, hotline services and on-site assistance
Optimize technical processes and continuously improve support efficiency
Localize European programs into actionable plans for Belgium Luxembourg
Escalate technical issues to Kia Europe (Frankfurt) and Kia HQ (Seoul)
Monitor and exceed technical performance KPIs
Service Homologation:
Support and coach the Service Homologation Manager
Improve processes and ensure up-to-date compliance with regulations
Who You Are
You hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field – a Master’s degree in Engineering is preferred
At least 8 years of experience in the automotive industry, including 5+ years in a leadership role
Fluent in English, French, and Dutch
Strong people manager with excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Experienced in managing multimillion budgets and tracking KPIs
Customer-focused with a strong technical-commercial mindset
Hands-on, proactive, and able to work independently
Eager to stay up to date with evolving technical knowledge
Comfortable working in an international environment and translating European HQ strategies into local action plans
Resilient under pressure and motivated to challenge and grow your team’s capabilities
