The Operational Procurement department is the link in the logistics chain that ensures that the necessary equipment, spare parts and consumables for the vessels are purchased at the best possible conditions. This includes both the dredging equipment that Jan De Nul designs and supplies to shipyards for new builds, the initial stock of spare parts that a ship takes with it on delivery, and keeping those stocks up to date during operations.
Will you become our new administrative colleague?
Some of your responsibilities include:
- the administrative processing of price enquiries, quotations and orders;
- the preparation of contract orders;
- the processing of order confirmations;
- the follow-up and reporting of delivery dates and deliveries;
- keeping data up-to-date.
What do you need to have?
You have a Bachelor degree within an administrative field or an A2 degree with a first relevant work experience in a similar position. You can withstand some healthy stress and know how to prioritise well. Furthermore, you are accurate and have a good knowledge of the MS Office package. You can express yourself fluently in Dutch and English.
