Mission
As a Project V&V Designer, you will lead and participate to the Verification & Validation activities for complex railway signalling projects. You will be responsible to define the validation strategy, to build your lab set up and lead your tests sessions from lab to on-site.
Main Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning :
- Define the validation strategy and planning
- Deliver with your team, all artefacts following the Cenelec Standarts and Alstom Process.
Lab-Based Activities:
- Define your test bench architectures based on internal products or customer products integration, with respects of Alstom cyber requirements
- Deploy, in lab your validation strategy.
On-Site Validation :
- Validate the project’s solution on field
- Collaborate with all actors of the validation process (onboard, trackside, customer, contractors)
- Commissioning
Coordination & Follow-Up :
- Animate your team around the quality and delay objectives
- Manage the interfaces with other teams of the project (design safety, RAM, quality, sourcing, industrialization).
- Monitor the progress of your activities with the support of KPIs.
Profile
Education
- Master’s degree in Engineering (mandatory)
- Fluent in English
Experience
- Minimum 3/5 years in V&V, signalling, or system integration
- Background in safety-critical or regulated environments
- Experience coordinating cross-functional technical activities
- Knowledge of Alstom platforms is a plus
Technical Skills
- Railway or metro Signalization: Interlocking, ETCS L1, L2, Control Centers, operation
- Easy with electronic platforms, hardware, network configuration, radio/telecom
- Experience in developing: Python, LUA, C, C++, VBA
- Interested by new technology: cyber, IA, IOT
