Job Description
Handary is a Shelf-life Specialist, we seek an operational director, who will oversee and direct all operational aspects of the company to ensure efficiency, productivity, and alignment with strategic objectives. Responsible for managing day-to-day operations, optimizing processes, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and services.
Tasks & Responsabilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to support business goals.
- Oversee production, logistics, supply chain, quality control, and facility management.
- Ensure operational processes are efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
- Lead, mentor, and manage department heads and operational teams.
- Collaborate with executive management to align operations with strategic objectives.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and allocate resources effectively.
- Oversee risk management, safety compliance, and environmental policies.
- Support new product launches, process improvements, and technology implementation.
- Report operational performance and provide recommendations to senior management or board.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Operational Director or in a senior operations leadership role.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of process optimization, supply chain management, and quality systems.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in the food, ingredients, manufacturing, or biotech industry is a plus.
