What will you be bringing to the team?
- Analyse how HR processes, definitions, principles, and practices are implemented across different EU organisations to support the use of the HR IT platform and related systems in a harmonised and consistent way, and document any residual differences.
- Identify viable business solutions, translate them into technical specifications, and assist with their technical implementation.
- Use appropriate tools to track differences in implementation and configuration during the interinstitutional adoption of the HR IT platform, including any legacy HR solutions.
- Define use cases and test configurations and proposed solutions in different technical environments.
- Support the change management process and analyse change requests, which may result in proposing new solutions or workarounds to meet business requirements.
- Develop and deliver business-oriented documentation, training, and coaching sessions to ensure successful adoption and use of the HR IT platform.
- Analyse business processes and propose options for implementation and automation/simplification in line with the capabilities and standards offered by digital solutions.
- Provide second-level support for business and functional inquiries from interinstitutional partners.
- Initiate and contribute to projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Interact with multiple stakeholders within the European Institution, with the broader HR community, with the European Institution’s IT services, and with other EU organisations.
- Assist with the design of targeted modules of the HR Transformation programme, which is partly developed using ServiceNow
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- Master Degree+11 years of relevant experience or Bachelor Degree and 15 years of relevant experience
- Strong IT background and experience as a business analyst, with at least three years of relevant professional experience in a similar role and domain preferred.
- Technical knowledge, skills, and experience interacting with users of IT systems and IT developers.
- Knowledge of and/or keen interest in HR rules, processes, and tools used within European Institutions.
- Capacity to understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
- Advanced drafting skills, including technical drafting and presentation abilities.
- Very good command of spoken and written English (minimum level C1); knowledge of French would be an advantage.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with PM2 and Agile (Scrum) methodologies.
- Experience with project/service management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Understanding of service management frameworks such as ITIL.
