We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Regulatory team.
Your role will be to support our clients in the financial services sector in ensuring Robust and Sustainable Compliance while optimizing Compliance Costs.
The business analyst acts the bridge between business teams and technical experts to ensure successful design and delivery. He performs a central coordination for assessing regulatory impact, managing compliance risks, and supporting reporting obligations, with a focus on ensuring operational readiness and governance.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Perform and maintain detailed assessments of regulatory compliance
- Ensure operational processes and procedures meet regulatory expectations
- Act as the key interface between business stakeholders and IT teams
- Understand and assess business operations, identify issues and opportunities and recommend appropriate business solutions
- Ensure proper translation of business requirements and processes into structured documentation
- Facilitate the implementation and deployment of system changes to internal stakeholders by providing them with support, advice and guidance throughout the whole project life cycle
- Participate and support the test execution handled by the Business end-users during the testing phases
- Stay up to date with market changes impacting the regulatory domain
- Contribute to internal knowledge building and offer development around regulatory
Profile
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a regulatory, compliance, and/or business analysis role
- Strong knowledge of compliance regulations related to AML, KYC/CDD, FATCA/CRS reporting
- Understanding of banking operations
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational action plans
- Experience in agile environments is a plus
- Strong coordination, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English and French or Dutch, with a good understanding of the other language
