Sales Development Role Convenience channel Antwerp/Limburg

We are specialized in producing and distributing beverages in Belgian and Luxembourg markets.
Member of the international beverage group Royal Unibrew, headquartered in Denmark. Solera BeLux operates a portfolio of international brands under license like Pepsi, 7UP, Mirinda, Looza and several other owned brands of various beverages categories. To expand its activities in Belgian and Luxembourg markets, we are looking for future commercial talents.

We produce, market, sell and distribute quality beverages with focus on branded products within beer, malt beverages and soft drinks as well as cider and long drinks. Based on continuous development and innovation, it is Royal Unibrew’s objective to meet customer and consumers demand for quality beverages.
Main purpose
HUNTING: Maximum conversions of end outlets towards Solera beverages (snacking, proximity, librairies, food bars & petrol stations, ...) and active and continuous prospection in your region to track any opportunities of Solera’s brand portfolio within the convenience and food service channel to drive market share. (This is through negotiations within the assigned geographic sector with the operators of the convenience and food service outlets (in free and obligatory business) and through negotiation and joint business planning with subwholesalers and cash&carry’s)
FARMING: Build up rotation and maximize distribution of all brands and references in portfolio by working daily on presence, visibility, quality and additional sales in the convenience and food service Outlets, in close collaboration with the subwholesalers and cash&carry’s. A key focus here is the day-to-day development of a lasting and strong customer relationship with outlets and especially subwholesalers and their commercial teams.
NEGOTIATION: Negotiations both with subwholesalers and with convenience/food service Outlets must take place within a well-defined investment policy determined by or in consultation with management. Works closely with the National Account Manager as well as with peers in the sales team by bringing in quality leads and collaborating on converting end outlets. The Sales developer has a variety of tools at his disposal (financial, visibility tools, cooling equipment and free goods budget) to succesfully convert end outlets and holds quarterly business reviews with the subwholesalers and cash&carry’s to analyze results and create action plans.
You are entrepreneur, hunter & ambassador in a well-defined sector with the ultimate goal of increasing volumes and market shares for all -products and this in a highly competitive environment.

Outlets: snacking, bakeries, petrol, proximity stores, sport venues, food trucks and pop-up bar

Subwholesalers: independent & members of groups.
Vending: local vending operators

Accountabilities
Business:
Achieve quarterly and annual objectives determined by the Management Team.
Volume increase within Sector (Outlets and Beverage Wholesalers).
Increase in Market Shares.
Acquisition of Outlets
Numerical Distribution Brands and references.
Customers/Relationships:
Negotiate within well-defined investment policies and guidelines. Tactics different ifo products, customer group, customer, sector, ...).
Wiring: build out excellent network with sales members of our partner wholesalers and sub-wholesalers to exchange leads and important developments within your region
Investment resources based on Return on Investment and investment canvas.
CASH: Pay For Performance, annual fees.
NON-CASH: cooling equipment, POS and free goods.
Collaboration with decision makers; trendsetters; developers; various vendors.
Team/Organisation:
You have a passion for customers and for growth, delivering a dynamic contribution to internal meetings to share customers points of view and implications
Key skills you will bring:
- Professional bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Around 2 to 3 years’ experience in FMCG/sales representative in a hospitality channel
- Native Flemish (in combination with French and/or English)
- Possession of a network in involved region
- Computer knowledge: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with different people and parties in a professional way
- Entrepreneurial spirit to drive the agenda and really make it happen
