As a Business Support & Master Data Administrator, you will join a dynamic and international environment where structure, accuracy, and support are key. You will be part of the internal operations and IT support team, acting as a key figure in managing product data, ensuring the daily operation of Business Central, and supporting colleagues with system and process-related questions. Thanks to your thorough knowledge and attention to detail, you will ensure accurate data flows, efficient processes, and smooth support for internal users.
Your responsibilities:
- Manage and validate product data and bills of materials in Business Central
- Create new items and safeguard the data structure (accuracy, logic, and consistency)
- Provide daily support and monitoring for different departments regarding Business Central, missing data, error messages, etc.
- Train and support colleagues during the rollout of new functionalities, tools, or process changes
- Monitor lead times and ordering parameters in collaboration with the purchasing department
- Prepare clear overviews (and reports) for data validation, inventory management, purchasing, and sales
- Manage and continuously improve processes in Business Central in consultation with the relevant departments
- Act as administrator of Business Central: main contact for internal users, maintain user roles and permissions, test and follow up on updates
- Support the Business Systems & Data Manager in drafting procedures and work instructions, and follow up on customized solutions in collaboration with the software partner
- Contribute to the setup, integration, and further development of the new PIM system (Product Information Management) together with the software partner
- Ensure correct and consistent product data in the PIM system and its integration with Business Central
- Coordinate test scenarios for software changes or data migrations
- Document processes and system changes (change management)
Your profile:
- Thorough knowledge of Business Central, with a focus on item management, logistics, and purchasing
- Proficient in Excel, the Office 365 environment, and Power BI
- Knowledge of PIM systems (Perfion), master data management, and Jet Reports is a strong plus
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and process-driven, with the ability to identify connections between data and operational processes
- Hands-on mentality with a strong sense of responsibility and a solution-oriented attitude
- Strong communication skills: able to align smoothly with colleagues and external partners, and translate technical information clearly
- Independent in organizing your work, while also being a strong team player
- Experience with change management, testing software updates, or project-based improvement initiatives is an asset
