Your missions :
The Application Technician is contributing to applied research projects enabling to develop new applications for existing products, developing new products and contributing to a high level of support to customer.
The responsibilities cover running laboratory and pilot experiments and trials and analytical work (physical, chemical, sensory) and include the participation to develop new protocols and analytical methods.
His / Her main responsibilities are :
Running pilot and laboratory experiments in line with protocols and best practices.
Delivering analytical results: physical, chemical, sensory techniques.
Compiling results of trials and analysis and drawing conclusions and recommendations
Responsibility for lab and pilot housekeeping: calibration and first level maintenance of equipment including contacts to suppliers, safety and hygiene in the facilities.
Ensuring lab consumables availability by stocks management, selecting suppliers and re-ordering.
Your profile :
Education in a scientific field (e.g. Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytics,..).
Languages: French, written and spoken English
Capacity to follow precisely protocols for lab and pilot trials and analytical work
Ability to interpret analytical or trial results and propose conclusions and improvements
Development of new analytical protocols
Preparation of trials and analytical work (equipment & tools, supplies, time planning)
Rigor in Calibration, Safety and Hygiene rules
MS Office tools to present results of experiments
