We are looking for a talented Facilities Technician to join our team specializing in the Facilities Department in Oevel, Belgium
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Ensure operational continuity by performing both preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and installations.
- Act swiftly and effectively in addressing urgent malfunctions, minimizing downtime and production delays.
- Contribute to safety by acting adequately in situations involving specific safety risks.
- Support compliance by assisting with inspections and technical audits.
- Drive improvements by analyzing recurring issues and proposing technical enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues as a true bridge-builder and team player.
- Enhance system reliability through hands-on involvement in mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related maintenance.
- Strengthen communication by working fluently in both Dutch and English, ensuring clear coordination across teams.
Qualifications
Education/ Experience:
- A2 diploma in electricity or electromechanics, or equivalent experience in electricity, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic).
- VCA permit and Forklift permit are desired but we can provide the support and trainings but will have to be completed.
- Position will sometimes require working at height.
- Familiarity with PLC control principles (operation-level understanding; programming not required).
- Open to recent graduates with maturity and eagerness to learn.

- Basic proficiency in standard computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook and Excel, with the ability to manage maintenance records and communicate effectively.
