VP, Relationship Management II – Global Clearing Platform, Europe

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Relationship Management II to join our Clearance and Collateral Management team. This role is located in Europe (flexible on location).
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Independently develops the strategic plan for managing and growing existing client relationships.
- Identifies opportunities to evolve client business for incremental account growth.
- Serves in a consultative role to the client, advising client senior leadership on the best way to achieve short and long term objectives.
- Manages overall relationship profitability for clients of varying sizes and complexity, across a region or globally.
- Develops significant expertise on industry trends, competitive landscape and client business environment, and proactively informs clients of industry developments and thought leadership.
- Promotes firm services/product offerings that solve client challenges and achieve account growth.
- Continually evaluates client needs and ensures sustained client engagement.
- Develops, tracks and reports on relationship strategy/results for assigned client portfolio. Contributes to the development of team metrics, dashboards and roadmaps.
- Works closely with business development teams to ensure relationship management strategy is executed by account management and client service teams.
- Researches client issues and bring to resolution.
- Keeps abreast of client account activity occurring throughout the firm and often serve as the escalation point for client satisfaction.
- Conducts service review meetings and assists in client training, sharing of market information/experience.
- Contributes to the development of overall relationship management strategies for the business.
- Works with other relationship managers to help marshal functional resources to ensure client needs are being addressed.
- Ensures client onboarding and risk management activities are conducted and captured.
- Able to travel as required, including attending industry events and conferences.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
- 6-8 years of work experience, preferably in Financial Services. Ideal candidate would have experience in Securities Clearance, Liquidity Solutions, Securities Finance or Prime Brokerage, and experience in Relationship Management, Client Services or Account Management.
- Multiple European languages preferred
