Responsibilities
At Den Berk Délice, everything revolves around quality and innovation. For our packaging warehouse in Hoogstraten, we are looking for a hands-on technician with broad technical interests and a sharp eye for improvement. Someone who enjoys variety and brings a healthy mix of technical insight, practical skills, and independence.

- You follow the preventive maintenance plan closely and carry out maintenance tasks independently.
- You resolve technical malfunctions, from minor defects to more complex issues, and coordinate with external technicians when needed.
- You actively contribute ideas to optimize our production lines: how can we save time, reduce errors, or make our processes smarter?
- You manage the technical tag list and make sure issues like worn parts are addressed quickly.
- You keep the surroundings of the warehouse tidy, in collaboration with colleagues (landscaping, sweeping, general upkeep).
- You help maintain five rental houses, working together with two other team members on small repairs and upkeep.
- You place orders for essential consumables (such as gloves, cleaning products) in consultation with suppliers.
- You build a spare parts inventory for key machines, ensuring minimal downtime.
- You assist in the digitalization of maintenance by helping implement a new maintenance software system (Control Office).
- You monitor and coordinate the maintenance of mobile equipment (electric pallet jacks, crate washers, etc.) with external partners.
Profile
- You are technically skilled and have a good understanding of mechanics and/or electromechanics.
- You enjoy solving technical problems and constantly look for smarter, better ways to work.
- You can work independently, plan your tasks proactively, and communicate clearly with colleagues and suppliers.
- You are organized, safety-minded, and take pride in working neatly and efficiently.
- Experience in a technical or production environment is a plus — but not a must.
- You speak Dutch and English and can communicate fluently on the work floor.
