Job description
We are looking for a Solution Architect to join our team and lead the design and onboarding of xNFs (Container Network Functions or Virtual Network Functions) onto a horizontal Telco Cloud platform. This platform is built on Red Hat OpenStack and OpenShift, running over a Cisco-based SDN network.
You will be responsible for translating business requirements and service flows into detailed connectivity and infrastructure designs, producing High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) covering the complete service chain. This role requires both architectural leadership and hands-on technical involvement during implementation.
Your Responsibilities
Translate business and service flows into technical connectivity and infrastructure requirements.
Design end-to-end solutions for onboarding xNFs, aligned with Telco Cloud architecture principles.
Produce detailed HLD and LLD documentation for all service chain components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (NF vendors, cloud infrastructure, security, and network architects).
Define and validate connectivity and service chaining requirements (Virtualization/Container stack, Load Balancers, Firewalls, SDN).
Ensure designs are compliant with industry standards and internal governance.
Support automation and lifecycle enablement of onboarding processes.
Lead architecture reviews and guide project teams from lab testing to production handover.
Your Profile
5+ years in Telco or Cloud Solution Architecture roles.
Proven experience onboarding VNFs/CNFs onto cloud-native platforms.
Experience working with multi-vendor environments and complex service chains.
Knowledge of Linux, OpenStack, OpenShift, load balancing and firewall integration.
Familiarity with Cisco ACI fabric & Nexus (N7K).
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, network automation, and observability tools.
Excellent documentation skills (HLD/LLD).
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Certifications
Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) or equivalent.
Kubernetes Certified (CKA/CKAD).
Cisco ACI or Palo Alto certifications.
Advanced networking certifications.
Azure Fundamentals.
