The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability and performance of our diagnostic imaging software and hardware systems.
Objectives of this Role
- Understand product requirements and translate them into test plans and test cases.
- Ensure the quality and reliability of products through rigorous testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects.
- Continuously improve testing processes and tools.
- Contribute to the development of automated testing frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests.
- Identify, record, and track bugs using appropriate tools.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
- Monitor debugging process results and improve test coverage.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Test Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile development processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
