Job description
We are currently looking for a Site Manager to oversee and coordinate large-scale construction projects in Antwerp, specifically within the Class 7-8 construction sector. This is an exciting opportunity to manage high-profile, complex projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for overseeing operations from structural work to finishing, ensuring that every aspect of the project meets the standards of Class 7-8 construction projects in terms of quality, efficiency, and safety.
Your Responsibilities:
Prepare and closely monitor short-term project schedules, including planning for workers, subcontractors, and resources.
Coordinate the ordering of necessary materials, equipment, and logistics for large-scale projects.
Lead and supervise subcontractors and workers to ensure high standards of efficiency and effectiveness.
Oversee and manage all phases of construction, from groundworks to final finishing, ensuring they meet the stringent standards and timelines associated with Class 7-8 projects.
Ensure the quality execution of works and provide regular reporting to the Project Manager.
Uphold strict site safety standards throughout the entire construction process.
Proactively support the project management team with problem-solving and leadership to keep the project on track.
Ensure that all project phases align with the scope and expectations of large-scale Class 7-8 construction projects.
Your Profile:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Construction) or equivalent through experience
Proven experience (3–6 years) as a Site Manager
Strong leadership and communication skills
High level of stress resistance, initiative, and enthusiasm
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Excellent time management and coordination skills
Willingness to travel across Flanders and Brussels
English – Professional level
Dutch – A strong plus
