We are looking for someone to strengthen our dynamic team within our Solutions & Products division, based at our location in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw. As Site Manager, you will play a key role in achieving our goals in sustainability and innovation, while leveraging your expertise to realize ambitious projects. Job Description:
As Site Manager, you are responsible for the daily management of Holcim's production or delivery site in Sint-Peters-Leeuw. You ensure a safe, efficient, and high-quality operation of the site, while respecting environmental standards and operational objectives.
Your role:
- Leading and coordinating all operational activities on site
- Overseeing safety, health, and environment (HSE) – safety is your absolute priority
- Optimizing production processes and resource allocation
- Directing and motivating the local team (workers, technicians, logistics, etc.)
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards (ISO, CE, internal standards)
- Reporting operational performance (KPIs) to the Area Manager
- Managing stock levels, raw materials, and maintenance of installations
- First point of contact for local customers, suppliers, or inspection services
- Assisting with investment projects or improvement initiatives
Your profile:
- Master or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent through experience (preferably in a technical or industrial field)
- At least 8 years of experience in an operational or managerial role within industry, construction, or logistics
- Knowledge of production or dispatch processes is a plus (e.g., concrete plants, aggregates, cement)
- Strong affinity for safety and environmental care
- Leadership skills, problem-solving mindset, resilience under stress
- Good command of Dutch, French, and English
- Proficient with MS Office and/or industrial ERP systems (SAP is a plus)
