As an open-source DBA you are interested in database installation, migration & management. You are passionate about Open Source databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, …) and you want to make a difference. If you have a positive mindset and you are only satisfied with finding the best solution for your customer, then you are the one we are looking for.
What will you do?
You install, migrate & manage open-source database environments while providing guidance and support for customers. They can count on you to find a solution for their database related issues. You will be responsible for health checks, tuning and daily maintenance.
Your skills
- MySQL and/or PostgreSQL database systems
- Linux operating systems
- EDB and Oracle is a plus
- MongoDB
- Knowledge of automation (Puppet, Ansible,…)
- Min. 5 years experience in database management or relevant experience
- Dutch and/or English
