Senior DevOps Engineer - Linux Consultancy Role
This position is for a consultancy mission at a client site through Keystone Solutions, requiring a minimum of 10 years of experience.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer specializing in Linux, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines, managing infrastructure, and monitoring Linux-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement appropriate and innovative solutions for the technical infrastructure that meet service needs.
- Contribute to the operational system management of the infrastructure to ensure service continuity.
- Coordinate activities to ensure optimal project implementation of infrastructure.
- Monitor the technical infrastructure to guide its evolution.
- Define, write, and implement documentation and procedures related to the technical infrastructure to optimize management and maintenance.
- Participate in the knowledge development of the team to enhance expertise and improve service quality.
- Know, respect, and apply the client's information security rules to ensure organizational continuity, as well as the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of processed data.
- Lead projects, advise on best practices, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with other teams to optimize DevOps processes.

Your Experience:
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you should have at least 10 years of experience in a similar role and possess:
- Good knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Good understanding of storage, networking, and cybersecurity.
- Good knowledge of HAproxy and Nginx.
- Good knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, Docker, Podman.
- Familiarity with standard technologies including:
- Terraform / OpenTofu
- Ansible Automation Platform
- Red Hat Satellite
- Red Hat OpenShift
- Git, GitLab
- PostgreSQL
- Zabbix
- Shell scripting
- Skilled with monitoring tools and log analysis (Elk Stack).
- Apt at diagnosing complex system issues, monitoring performance, and implementing high availability solutions.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and methodologies.
- Understanding of IT service management (ITILv4 Foundation).
- Results-oriented with a high sense of responsibility.
- Client-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
Your Work Environment:
While ensuring the country's security, preventing security risks, advising political, judicial, and military authorities, and disrupting threats, your work within the VSSE has significant societal impact.
You must be of Belgian nationality and speak either French or Dutch as your primary language, with at least a basic knowledge of the other language and English. You have a strong sense of responsibility and maintain discretion regarding your work. You hold or are willing to obtain a "Very Secret" security clearance (i.e., you accept the security investigation). There is no cost to you.
Note: Remote work is not possible; you must work on-site in Brussels for 5 days a week. Your workplace is located near Brussels-North station, and the working hours are very flexible.
