We are seeking a senior Consultant to join our Economic Governance Department team, starting as soon as possible.
Position summary
Project participation in studies, evaluations and technical assistance
- Conduct rigorous qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Participate in field missions (typically 1–3 times per year, depending on project requirements).
- Deliver capacity-building activities and training sessions.
- Draft high-quality reports, policy briefs, and other project deliverables.
- Engage proactively with clients and manage project teams.
- Oversee project administration, financial management, and reporting.
Business Development
- Leverage your network of clients, companies, and experts to grow and diversify the company’s business opportunities.
- Lead the preparation of high-quality technical and financial proposals, from internal coordination to final client submission, ensuring they are competitive and tailored to client needs.
Knowledge Development
- Support ADE’s knowledge capitalisation and dissemination efforts.
Candidate profile
- Master’s degree or PhD in Economics, Finance, Business Management or similar.
- 10+ years of professional experience, including project acquisition experience and proven track record of winning tenders, as well as expertise in public finance management, macroeconomic analysis, domestic revenue mobilization, budget support operations, development finance, private sector development, blending and guarantee.
- Well-organised mindset with a high level of rigor and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities, with statistical tools experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
- Excellent project management skills and interpersonal skills (communication, negotiation, teamwork).
- A cooperative, supportive, and proactive team player with a “can do” attitude.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced commercial environment and strong stress-resistance.
- Good understanding of external relations, international cooperation, and familiarity with EU institutions, policies, and international financial institutions (IFIs).
- Strong network and connections in relevant industries.
- EU nationality or valid work permit is required.
