Company/ Mission description:
We are currently transitioning our SAP IT operating model to a product-oriented approach. In this context, we are looking for an SAP HCM Payroll consultant with ABAP knowledge who would like to support and develop our Group SAP HRCORE product. A SCRUM/Agile approach is practiced in the products - the focus is on both the operation of current solutions and implementation of new HCM tools and solutions.
We run on an S4HANA 2023 for our ERP system with a high emphasis on leveraging a good user experience through SuccessFactors and Fiori. We have the ambition to transition the Client Group SAP Landscape to a private cloud solution by 2027. Part of this RISE journey is also the move of our current HCM Payroll system (SAP ECC) to the cloud.
As an Expert SAP HCM Payroll consultant (Functional Analyst with ABAP knowledge), you need to take care of the following tasks:
Maintenance and care of the product "SAP HRCORE" as part of the product team.
Design, configure, develop, implement and test our RISE journey of the German Payroll.
Advising the product team (Functional Analysts / Business analysts / Product Owner) on solutions for requirements.
Aligning with stakeholders of different product teams and departments.
Technical Documentation of the developed technologies.
Independently manage new requirements, write functional specifications for the developers.
Manage and conduct the IT tests, and deliver to the product teams and customers.
Monitors the health of the system by proactively looking at workflow logs, short dump logs, application logs, etc.
Monitors and analyze technical market trends to ensure state of the art solutions.
Ensuring second- and third-line support for the product HRCORE.
Conduct customer workshops together with product owners and business analysts.
Ensure that the technical solution fits to the business process and aligns with corresponding products on technical interfaces and dependencies (e.g. Finance, Controlling).
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with the SAP HCM German Payroll module, the standard functionality, and the extension possibilities.
In-depth knowledge and skill to customize the related HCM German payroll objects according to requirements.
Excellent knowledge on the German Payroll Legislation
Excellent understanding of Payroll Functions & rules and able to adapt and create custom ones.
Experience in German Pre & Post Payroll processes E2E.
ABAP skills. Read & write code: As the team supports several interfaces, the ability to program (read and write code) is necessary.
Time (PT), Organizational management (OM), Personnel Administration (PA).
Experience with working in a Fiori First context is a plus
Experience with S4HANA is necessary.
Knowledge of integration points between SAP modules.
Provide clear context, guidance, and support towards the developers.
Capable of forming the bridge between the business analysts and the developers
Knowledge of HCM integrations with Successfactors and S/4HANA is necessary.
Knowledge of integration technologies (Idoc, ALE, CPI, Cloud Foundry, PI) is a plus.
Knowledge of Business Partner integration is a plus.
Knowledge of cloud technologies (SAP public and/or private Cloud) is a plus.
