As a Rotating Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and lifespan of our rotating equipment, including pumps, turbines, and compressors. You will develop and implement strategies to minimize downtime and increase productivity, contributing to the sustainable growth of our operations.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Optimize Rotating Equipment Availability: Develop effective preventive and predictive maintenance plans (PPM) for rotating equipment, with the goal of minimizing downtime and increasing productivity.
- Lubrication Management: Design and implement lubrication programs for all rotating equipment, ensuring the correct lubricants are used and applied appropriately.
- Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Strategies: Apply knowledge of vibration monitoring, thermography, and oil analysis to enhance maintenance strategies.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Lead RCA investigations into rotating equipment failures and implement structural solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Continuous Improvement: Establish and maintain a continuous improvement cycle for critical rotating equipment through FMEA and data analysis.
- Extend Equipment Lifespan: Design and refine maintenance programs that maximize the lifespan of rotating assets, ensuring uninterrupted production.
- CAPEX Projects: Provide valuable input in CAPEX projects, ensuring reliability and maintenance considerations for rotating equipment are addressed early.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all reliability engineering activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and standards. Actively promote and adhere to Life Saving Rules and SHEQ principles.
- Proactive Problem Solving and Process Improvement: Take a proactive approach to problem-solving, focusing on rotating equipment and driving process improvements.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, driving a culture of reliability and efficiency across departments.
Requirements
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience in maintaining and optimizing rotating equipment, with in-depth knowledge of maintenance strategies and reliability engineering.
- Expertise in reliability techniques such as RCA and FMEA.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Experience in the implementation of lubrication programs and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Proactive mindset, capable of providing strategic recommendations to management.
