YOUR TASKS
- You will co-develop the knowledge base of practice speeches and coordinate the collection of those speeches.
- You will check the properties of those practice speeches.
- You will collect interpretations carried out by students.
- You will collect the feedback provided by trainers on those interpretations.
- You will develop RAGs for the generation of practice speeches and for the automated feedback.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- You obtained a degree in interpreting (Master’s in interpreting or conference interpreting or an equivalent postgraduate programme in conference interpreting) in which you studied Dutch, French and English.
- You feel motivated to work for the development of interpreter training and you have a clear vision about the development of course materials for interpreter training.
- You have knowledge of AI applications in interpreter training or you are willing to acquire such knowledge rapidly.
- You have knowledge of RAGs or you are willing to acquire such knowledge rapidly.
WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU
- We offer you a contract of definite duration for a period of 11 months.
- Your contract will start on 15/09/2025 at the earliest.
- Your remuneration will be determined by salary scale WM1 to WM4 (if you hold a Master’s degree) or salary scale PD1 to PD4 (if you hold a doctorate). Click here for more information about our salary scales.
