For a Novalix insourcing team based in a pharmaceutical company, we are seeking a passionate and skilled Molecular Biology Scientist with a Master's degree and specialized expertise in induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) technology and laboratory automation. This role focuses on culturing and differentiating iPSCs into specialized neural cell types and developing protocols for automated robotic platforms.
In details, key responsibilities are:
- Maintain and expand iPSC lines under standardized and quality-controlled conditions
- Design and optimize protocols for differentiation of iPSCs into various specialized cell types, including neurons, astrocytes, and microglia
- Work with both 2D cultures and 3D organoid systems
- Operate and maintain laboratory automation platforms
- Develop and refine automated protocols to support high-throughput iPSC culture and differentiation
- Record experimental procedures and results in lab management systems
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support project goals
Profile
- Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biotechnology, or related field
- Hands-on experience with iPSC culture and neural differentiation
- Familiarity with 2D and 3D cell culture systems
- Experience with automated liquid handling systems or robotic platforms
- Strong interest in laboratory automation and willingness to learn and develop novel automation protocols
