Role & Profile of the Candidate:
Due to the dynamic development of the company in Asia, Australia and Pacific region, the need has arisen to reinforce the worldwide sales team with the recruitment of a Regional Sales Manager reporting directly to the Group Sales Director.
Principal Accountabilities:
Seeks and explores new business opportunities, be the sales hunter in the region,
Co-create and implement the group sales strategy. Plan and define sales targets, forecast sales results of our company portfolio,
Identify new business opportunities and take pro-active steps to explore them,
P&L responsibility for sales (volume, margins, direct cost etc.),
Responsibility for the development and functioning of distribution channels,
Participation in marketing and advertising activities, fairs, exhibitions and sector associations,
Supervision of the installation process at the clients premises and hand over,
Coordination with the Aftersales team for care and support,
Preparation of ongoing sales progress reports,
Maintains and provides direction in the development of the commercial relationship with key customers,
Skills and Competences:
- Higher education, preferably technical or technical-commercial
- At least three years of experience in the similar position in the laundry business, preferably industrial laundry machinery or equipment
- Good command of English
- Strong result orientation
- Ability to build strong relations with clients
- Ability of creative and analytical thinking
- Highly developed negotiation and communication skills
- Insight, ability to understand market processes
- Leadership skills, ability to define and execute targets
- Entrepreneurial and dynamic, hands-on leader
- Willingness to travel.
