As a Product & Application Specialist, you will work as part of a team. The Benelux team consists of 4 Account Managers and 5 Product & Application Specialists. You will report directly to the Sales Manager Benelux. You will be responsible for product advice, training, and application support for our customers. You are one of the faces of ZEISS at universities, research centres and companies active in both research and production across the Benelux region. No two days are the same – every day brings a new challenge and a new environment.
The key responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):
• You are responsible for product and application support for high-end life science applications in both widefield and confocal microscopy;
• You provide training and demonstrations at customer locations or at the ZEISS demo facilities;
• You help identify and offer the right solutions for our customers;
• You stay up to date with the latest market trends and have knowledge of the competitive landscape;
• You identify new needs among existing customers and aim for maximum customer satisfaction.
Required knowledge & experience
• A university degree in biology, biophysics, or a comparable natural science;
• Several years of experience with high-end microscopy systems and image analysis;
• A team player who can also work independently;
• You are creative, can think in processes, and focus on providing complete solutions for our customers;
• This is a responsible role that sometimes requires working under pressure, so we expect you to be stress-resistant;
• Strong communication skills (fluent in Dutch and English);
• A valid category B driving license.
