This position is based in Brussels.
Role Purpose:
The holder of this role will be responsible for the management, oversight and day-to-day running of any matter relating to Lloyd’s Europe’s Operational Resilience requirements. This includes the design and implementation of resilience and recovery solutions, validating their effectiveness through testing and by fulfilling any regulatory requirements. The recently introduced DORA regulation will constitute a significant part of the role’s responsibilities, but not limited to that as the role holder with be responsible for both ICT and non-ICT operational resilience matters, either as part of regulatory requirements or as part of management mandate. The holder of this role will collaborate closely with various departments such as IT & Security, Office Management and 2nd lines, and the scope will include all European branches and the Lloyd’s Europe region.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Ownership of Operational Resilience Framework Lloyd’s Europe. This would include both ICT and non-ICT resilience matters, such as DORA ICT Risk Management Framework, general Operational Resilience Framework, Business Continuity Planning, Disaster Recovery and Crisis/Emergency protocols.
- Be responsible for design and implementation of a testing strategy for critical functions and important services, covering IT systems and services, infrastructure, electronic information, company offices, business processes and third parties.
- Submission of regulatory returns relating to Operations Resilience
- Collaboration and engagement with 1st line functions to ensure Operational Resilience requirements and standards are met.
- Collaboration and engagement with 2nd line (Risk and Compliance) for validation of Operational Resilience Framework.
- Support management teams during live response activities to ensure all events are managed within guidelines and fully documented.
- Engagement with Corporation of Lloyd’s (UK) Operational Resilience Centre of Excellence team to align with processes and practises, and if possible even align at global policy level.
- Assessment of changes on regulatory landscape on Operational Resilience matters and application to Lloyd’s Europe Operational Resilience Framework.
- To represent Lloyd’s Europe on relevant committees and forums as required by the role.

Knowledge:
- Good understanding of the risk, regulatory and compliance framework relating to DORA and Operational Resilience in general.
- Languages: Fluency in written and spoken English required. Any other European language is considered as an asset.
Experience:
- Experience with Policies and Management Frameworks relating to ICT, Security and Operational Resilience.
- Experience in conversing with Regulators would be a strong asset.
