Job Description:
Client is looking for a Monitoring & Application Performance Specialist to support operations within the EU Institutions. If you have hands-on experience with monitoring tools and IT operations, this could be the next step in your career!
Key Responsibilities
· Operate and maintain Monitoring & APM tools (AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Icinga, Splunk)
· Design and evaluate management systems and architectures, conduct proof of concepts, and test solutions
· Implement new solutions in production environments, define procedures, train operators, and configure tools
· Define and monitor metrics to evaluate quality and efficiency of operations; propose improvements
· Provide training and admin-level expertise in at least one of the following: AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Icinga, Splunk
Expertise & Skills
· Strong knowledge of ITIL best practices in ICT operations
Solid technical background in at least 3 of the following domains:
· Log Management / Data Monitoring / AI / ML
· Application Performance Monitoring (APM)
· Microservices & Containers
· Cloud applications & services
· DevOps, AIOps, ITIL methodologies
· Networking (LAN, WAN, switches, firewalls, DNS, proxies)
· Data Centre infrastructure (servers, VMs, storage)
Minimum 6 months of experience in at least 2 of the following:
· IT Monitoring & Log Management (Ops Centre)
· IT Infrastructure Performance (fault, capacity, security management)
· IT Support (L1/L2)
· Data mining, IT metrics, reporting
· IT Service Customer Care
