Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Laboratory Analyst to join our analytical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both method development and routine testing, with a focus on polymer-related applications and the analysis of elemental impurities.
This position involves hands-on operation of a variety of advanced analytical instruments and requires a strong theoretical foundation in laboratory best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods for polymer-related materials.
- Conduct routine testing of polymer samples in accordance with established protocols and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain liquid chromatography (LC) systems for qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Method development/routine analysis of elemental impurities.
- Ensure adherence to laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized working environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, Materials Science, or a related scientific discipline.
- 2+ years of relevant laboratory experience, preferably in polymer or elemental analysis.
- Strong understanding of polymer chemistry and analytical techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Liquid chromatography.
- Familiarity with method development and validation.
- Proficient in data analysis, technical writing, and use of laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and time management.
- Fluent English-speaking capabilities since this is the working language. Dutch is nice to have but not a must.

- A full-time (40hours/week) Monday – Friday job.
- A Permanent contract with flexible working hours. (Can start between 7:00 and 9:30am)
